Very interesting... it will be nice to analyze how such transaction systems stand up to mobile versions of phishing and man-in-the-middle attacks. Is there any RSA for mobile systems??

Hi Sandeep,

The mobile device is nothing but a participant in a distributed system. So, I guess its as susceptible to man-in-themiddle attack as any other computing node.

RSA and MD5 is available on the Symbian OS which is the dominant OS in the mobile software but I dont know much about it.

Funadmo, the company which is the provider for CelPay actually provides a different (and secure) SIM card when you sign up for the service. I would be very interested in knowing what security they have incorporated and how do you make a SIM card "secure"
